Dolphins @ Bengals --- 20/20 Hindsight!!! Was out of town, but would have picked the Bengals anyway. Colts @ Jaguars --- Colts play at 7:30AM. Guess I'll have to skip church.
Bills @ Patriots --- Hope I'm wrong
Titans @ Texans Lions @ Bears
Panthers @ Falcons --- Upset of the week
Seahawks @ Jets
Raiders @ Ravens
Browns @ Redskins Broncos @ Buccaneers --- Looks like 4-0 start for the Broncos
Rams @ Cardinals
Cowboys @ 49ers --- Wishful thinking pick of the week
Saints @ Chargers
Chiefs @ Steelers --- Again, I hope I am wrong. Chiefs would beat them in KC, but in Pitts???
Giants @ Vikings
Bengals over Dolphins (picked earlier)
Colts over Jags
Pats over Bills
Texans over Titans
Lions over Bears
Panthers over Falcons
Seahawks over Jets
Ravens over Raiders
Redskins over Browns
Broncos over Bucs
Cardinals over Rams
Cowboys over 49ers
Chargers over Saints
Steelers over Chiefs
Vikings over Giants
Time to get back on track this week starting with:
Dolphins @ Bengals. I thought this game was in Florida for some reason, but I was still probably going to pick the Bengals anyways. Dolphins were lucky to escape with a win against the pitiful Brows Sunday as they really should have lost, while the Bengals are looking to rebound from 2 straight losses....of course the Steelers & Broncos are 2 pretty good games, so no shame in losing those 2 games.
As usual, I'll get the rest in Saturday evening.
Colts @ Jaguars. Welcome to the first London game of the year, also known as Goodell's experiment to export as many games OUT of the US as he possibly can. Still for the life of me can't understand why we have to send regular season games that mean something to foreign countries and can't send a meaningless preseason game.
Bills @ Patriots. I've learned my lesson picking against the Patriots. Also, I'm not going to press my luck on picking the Bills 2 straight weeks.
Titans @ Texans. Even without Watt, they should be able to beat the Titans. Lions @ Bears. I figured this was one of the few games the Bears had a chance to win this season, but they look dreadful while the Lions have actually been playing teams close, so I'll pick the Lions to pick up another road win.
Panthers @ Falcons. I don't think the Panthers are all that good.
Seahawks @ Jets. Beware the West Coast team going East to play the 1 PM game! That fact plus the Jets coming off getting pounded and Wilson hobbled for the Seahawks= a decent chance for a Jets victory.
Raiders @ Ravens. Another West Coast team going East for a 1 PM game. Also, is it just me, or does it seem like the Dolphins & Raiders have played all their games on the road so far??
Browns @ Redskins. Wouldn't this be totally Redskins to lose this?? Broncos @ Buccaneers. The Simien train continues to power on and picks up steam every week.
Rams @ Cardinals. I don't think the Cardinals are that good either, but they should get the win at home. Cowboys @ 49ers. The Dak train continues to power on and pick up steam as well. They very well could be undefeated if the receiver steps out of bounds at the end of the Giants game.
Saints @ Chargers. Points, points, points!
Chiefs @ Steelers. Poor Chiefs! Steelers at home coming off a game where they trailed by more than 30 points for the first time in more than 16 years (305 games). Not going to be fun for the Chiefs.
Giants @ Vikings. The Vikings defense putting the "defense wins championships" theory to the test. I don't think they can win a Super Bowl with Sam Bradford/Shaun Hill, but teams with great defenses have won with marginal QBs before (00 Ravens Trent Dilfer, 02 Bucs Brad Johnson, 15 Broncos with a shell of himself Peyton Manning), so if that defense continues to play as it is, we could very well add 16 Vikings Sam Bradford to that list as well.
Eagles & Packers both over Bye. I think Bye will take a few teams this year (Browns, Bears, etc) but Wentz & Rodgers are too much for bye to handle.
