Blue I'm talking about this year alone, period. Not sure why you would even bring up the Pats dynasty and four super bowl trophy's when the award has to do with 100℅ this year only. For the first time in a long time Brady is supported by a really good defense. And Garoppolo has developed into a very good back up QB. Even just two years ago you couldn't say that.

Again, stop using past history for anward that is solely about what is happening in 2016. The HOF and Brady's goat status is when you can look at Brady's entire career. Not this discussion.

I guarantee you Garoppolo beats my Bills if he plays. We only managed 16 points. And that was still when Gronk was barely even playing. Heck, the rookie was even injured in that game.

It's a close year - depends on what happens in the playoffs.

If GB gets to the championship game it will probably be Rogers
If the Falcons get there it will probably be Matt Ryan
If the above doesn't happen and the Pats win then Brady
If Pittsburgh wins then Le'veon wins
If none of the above happens and Dallas wins then perhaps Dak.

Don't think anyone else has any chance.

Come on Blue, Hogan? We are a run first team. We can't even get Watkins or Woods the targets they should be getting. Every receiver on our team could go to about 26-28 other teams and see more targets and catches. That is not just a Tom Brady thing.

Again.....Playoffs has NOTHING to with the MVP vote

The vote is OVER.....the results won't be released until day before Super Bowl but the votes are in....

Voting has already happened, playoffs are never included, it is season record only. It is pretty much the same 50 media people that vote on the AP All Pro team.

Your argument that Brady is the "least valuable" to his team of the MVP candidates is baseless and can't be proven....

You can try to "guess" how Atlanta or Green Bay would do without their QB's but there is no "knowing" how it would have played out....similarly for Brady....Pats would have likely gone 4-0 with Brady to start season but just because they went 3-1 first 4 games doesn't mean that pace would have continued under Garropolo or Brissett.

In the case of Rodgers, when the Pack was 4-6 the national media was wondering what was wrong with Rodgers....Rodgers wasn't playing "that" badly in truth and was still better than 95% of the other NFL QB's so is he really responsible for the Packers turning it around or was it the rest of his TEAM playing better and if so how is he in the MVP discussion??

The rest of your argument that Brady is surrounded by better "talent" this year isn't born out by regular season honors of All Pro/Pro Bowl and in the case of offensive talent has NEVER been true...Brady has made due with lesser receivers throughout his career making journeymen....like Hogan....look like All Stars.

If Hogan could have gone to any other team and had the same success why didn't other teams put in claims on him? Plenty of other teams are looking for solid #2 and #3 receivers....but they don't have Tom Brady

However the same argument you use regarding surrounding talent effectively excludes your early season pick for MVP....Dak Prescott....

You keep bringing up Dak, not sure why. It was what week 11 when I made that thread? Dak has been off my MVP list for 4-5 weeks now. So that's irrelevant. Baseless that he is surrounded by a better supporting cast? How so? His defense gives up the least amount of points per game. That's a fact. How is that a baseless claim. Even with all of that though, I still recognize that he is #2 in my eyes. But more valuable than Ryan to his team? No. Better stats than Ryan? No.

OK, I'm watching the NFL Honors and NFL.com posts winners before the show airs, some of them are up and I am very surprised Matt Ryan is Offensive Player of the Year. Could he get both the MVP and Offensive player or maybe Zeke or Dak get the MVP?
