For 2 years they tried to stick him a LB (6'4", 260lbs) and for 2 years he was nothing more than a special teams player and seldom played defense. Finally, one coach moved him to DT and he became one of the greatest DTs to ever play the game.. that is what great coaches do.. they find roles for players that at first glance they don't appear fit for.. This is not a unique story.. this happens a lot...
It does.. who was it?

I think of Sam Shields a WR then switched to CB, an excellent corner for the Packers, and they do miss him.

This year, Montgomery going from WR to RB, always wanting to be a RB, is a good example. I wish McCarthy would have gotten him on the field sooner when Lacy and Starks went down.

I'm going to predict that the Cowboys don't make it to the SB. I've watched Prescott & Zeke the last 3 games and they could've been 0-3. The Vikings is a loss they got lucky. The Giants have the formula to stop the Dallas short pass and run game and TB game Winston just coughed up the ball more than he normally does.

Dallas's defense is very suspect, they are prone to a balanced running & deep ball attack. If they faced Rodgers they would get picked part.

I think the best NFC teams are Seattle, Atlanta, NY, GB, Dallas, DET. NY is playing with momentum right now an I expect them to win the last 2 games which could put pressure on Dallas not to lose a single game as home field is up for grabs.

DET will be the only team that will give Dallas problems. They need to win because they got a tough schedule.

Actually, the Cowboys have room for error.. They can LOSE 1 game and still clinch the EAST..

The Vikings game was destined for OT... so not sure how you automatically claim that as a loss and they got lucky. They got lucky it didn't go into OT but they didn't get LUCKY to be winning by 8 with seconds left in the game.. that's an odd statement?

I don't see Detroit giving Dallas problems, they might but Lions haven't been scoring like usual and have no run game to speak of, plus looking at their schedule, haven't played many winning teams. Of course, they can only play as scheduled.

It is always hard to judge end of season, because teams change a great deal from the beginning to where they are now.

They did face Rodgers and won, early in the season, but a win by 2 scores.

At this point, i would rather face the Giants for a 3rd time having never beat them vs Rodgers.. I know what Eli is and I know what Rodgers is.. and its not even close...
