A guy that when the game is on the line you are pretty confident he can nail a 50 yarder. Or even midway 2nd quarter you have no doubt he will hit a standard 43 yard FG. Watching the games on Sunday last week one of the takeaways I got was how good those kickers were. Now I don't know if it that was just one game, but they all looked good on Sunday.

Bills have a terrible kicker currently in Dan Carpenter. He can't be trusted from any distance, not even extra points. Every kicker misses an extra point over the course of a whole season these days since they moved it back, but Dan's missed about 7 or 8 I think over the last two years and numerous kicks between 40-50 yards and he doesn't hit the 50+ yarders like he used to. Carpenter had a fantastic season in 2014 that was worthy of a pro-bowl IMO, but his last two years he has been unreliable.

Hopkins was great for the Redskins in 2015, but he has kind of struggled a bit in 2016. Still, I think he's the best kicker the 'skins have had in awhile.
Cards kicker (Chandler Catanzaro), plus his snappers & holders have been a three-ring circus this year -- so, no. I'm not very confident at this point!
This is the 1965 New York Giants. No, our team does not have a good kicker. Bob Timberlake was 1 of 15 on field goals this year (and the one he made was 43 yards, which was a less than 50-50 proposition back in the 1960s, so go figure!). He missed his last 13 attempts (of the season and, no surprise, of his career).
Mason Crosby had a terrible 2012, but Packers brought in competition to training camp and he kept his job. This from Packers.com:
One year after an abysmal field-goal percentage of 63.6 (21 of 33) nearly cost him his job, Crosby posted a career-best 89.2 percent accuracy (33 of 37) in the regular season.
They restructured his contract, put incentive laden language in it, and he's been good ever since. Who know what went wrong that season, hard to say but I'm glad Packers stuck with him. He's been on the team 10 years, above 85% since 2012, and entered NFL record books this past weekend, hasn't missed kicks in the playoffs since 2011.
