I remember Dave Grayson well. Very well!

4 time Associated Press All Pro
6 time American Football League pro bowler
All time AFL leader in interceptions
Member of AFL all time team

Started his career with the Dallas Texans, nee Kansas City Chiefs. Traded to the Raiders for Fred Williamson.

I too remember him vaguely but did not realize all his accomplishments. Quite impressive.

Have a better memory of journeyman tight end Tommy Mitchell with the Colts and also his driving range (golf) in the neighborhood.

And then there was Willie Townes who was LE on a good Cowboy defensive line along with Jethro Pugh, the great Bob Lilly, and George Andrie. Jack Buck used to call them Willie, Lilly, Jethro, and George.

And of course Babe Parilli.

I didn't realize Tom Mitchell started his career with the Raiders. Yea, very good tight end with the Colts. He backed up John Mackey for several seasons, then Mackey finished his career with San Diego when GM Joe Thomas started to run off the veterans.

Yep, Willie Towns-part of that great Cowboy D-line of the late 60's!
