The population of greater Miami is something like 35% Cuban...
Last year Kaepernick decided to wear a pro Castro t shirt and when questioned about it actually DEFENDED Castro as if he were a great misunderstood man and not a communist dictator who killed thousands and led to tens of thousands fleeing their homeland..
There would have been riots in the streets if Miami signed Kapernick...
Kaepernick made his bed and now he gets to sleep in it, yes it is a free country and one can protest and say whatever one likes, that doesn't mean prospective employers are somehow obligated to hire you...
Not to mention he has been a TERRIBLE QB for YEARS now
RGIII isn't signed either why isn't there a public outcry over the unfairness of it all in regards to Griffin???
Because he is Kaepernick only with more of an injury history....neither of them can play from the pocket, read defenses or make the quick decisions needed to thrive as a NFL QB
in light of recent events with the recent signings by teams, would the owners panic and give in if every player decided to boycott?
If all the players(both high level and low level) decided to boycott, the owners would certainly cave in. Even if only the Black players decided to boycott, it would hurt the league significantly, as they make up the majority of the NFL players.
there have been 8 nfl strikes and nobody was cut. try again.
Those were contract issues. Kaepernick is not. Let's pretend in some alternate reality that the players stage a wildcat strike over him. You don't think the organizers on every team would be out the door?
Kaepernick is a distraction. The question is if there's a team where the need for a quarterback outweighs the distraction variable.

You don't get it.
The owners are reflecting the demands of the fans.
A significant portion of fans would boycott the NFL if the owners were to make a habit of allowing the game to be infested with cheap political theater.
Football is for football. We don't want it any other way.
If you want cheap political theater, you can start here.
Sounds like we're going for three locked-down threads in a row?
