No one takes one of them seriously...not one. They all look like children and have since the ingrate, overrated flash-in-the-pan Kaepernick started with this nonsense. Honestly the phony melodramatic outrage is beginning to make them all - even their BLM cohorts - look schizophrenic, delusional, detached from reality.

And to be clear, as someone else explained, more whites are killed by police than blacks, and the blacks that are killed by police (drop in the bucket compared to the THOUSANDS that are being murdered by their own black brothers yearly now) are killed by black or other non-white police officers.

It's funny...apparently sports players can comment on politics/become political activists but the President can't comment on sports?

These goons are a turning into a laughing stock with their melodramatic fabricated rage.

Being President of the United States has a variety of extra responsibilities that the avg citizens don't have....he takes an Oath of Office which includes supporting the Constitution. Infringing on an American's First Amendment Rights violates that oath. There are also laws in the country where he can't have undue influence on private enterprises:

18 U.S. Code § 227 – Wrongfully influencing a private entity’s employment decisions by a Member of Congress or an officer or employee of the legislative or executive branch

(a) Whoever, being a covered government person, with the intent to influence, solely on the basis of partisan political affiliation, an employment decision or employment practice of any private entity—
(1) takes or withholds, or offers or threatens to take or withhold, an official act, or
(2) influences, or offers or threatens to influence, the official act of another,
shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for not more than 15 years, or both, and may be disqualified from holding any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.
(b) In this section, the term “covered government person” means—
(1) a Senator or Representative in, or a Delegate or Resident Commissioner to, the Congress;
(2) an employee of either House of Congress; or
(3) the President, Vice President, an employee of the United States Postal Service or the Postal Regulatory Commission, or any other executive branch employee (as such term is defined under section 2105 of title 5, United States Code).

Do you think OBAMA ever meddled in such affairs of private entity with radical comments he may have made at some point in his tenure???

Not sure why you feel a need to change the subject. But anyway, regarding the previous Presidents of the United States. You and others had a plenty of opportunity to whine about. My memory is fading as I age, but I now that I think about it, recall almost daily whines from his critics.

Well then don't pull out some wanky "law" and apply it to Mr. Trump as if what he did was some freakin' serious thing.

It wasn't. He made an opinion and vocalized it. No need to be so hypersensitive about it.

Maybe the NFL won't totally collapse but it's dying a slow death and Goodell better grow a set before it gets much worse. The ratings are speaking for themselves and I suspect after this weekend they'll be much lower. Maybe he should take a hint from NASCAR!

Only if Roger Goodell wants the NFL to die more quickly. NASCAR's lost 40-50% of its fan base in the last 10-15 years. Tracks are yanking out hundreds of thousands of seats they can't sell, and Brian France has gone full throttle with stupid gimmicks to try to get people to come back.

Donald Trump did not simply state his opinion on say, who the greatest QB of all time is, or who he thought was going to win the Super Bowl. He called out NFL players, called them SOBs and said the NFL and/or owners should fire them. Just look at how Trump reacts when people call him out for his ability to be president. He then proceeds to have hissy fit after hissy fit on Twitter. What's more embarrassing? NFL players engaging in a peaceful, silent protest? Or the leader of our country acting like a 5 year old on twitter?
