I think so ...it was a stupid thing to do.
But being a lifelong FINZ fan, I am not surprised anymore. It seems like the most excitement in Miami comes from scandal, like the Ingonito/Martin one a few years back....... Kind of make us wonder why Bill Parcells just walked away from a paycheck and a job at this team. So did Nick Saban at some time. People want little to do with the franchise and it shows.
I think someone pointed out that the Franchise has been a joke since Shula left. And the owner does not seem to care, and they keep going from one clueless GM to another every few years because people do not have a long term business plan or any idea of what they are doing.
Remember too, I do not live in Miami but I go there on occasion. I do not do drugs, but I will point out that the drug culture in Miami is higher than many places. I once said that Miami is a great place to go if you are young, single, good looking, wealthy and do drugs. (I missed 4 out of 5)
Miami is a druggie party town. Just what they do there. Great place to go watch football in December, and great place to go to the beach (If you like topless women) and good place to catch a cruise to the Caribbean But as for living there, raising kids, forget it. Unless you are home schooling them in drug cartelling, stay out.
Now the joke
LOL at the picture. But yeah I did hear Miami is heavy for the drug and partying scene especially with what the former o-line coach was using. It does explain why the o-line preformed poorly when the coaches are undisciplined, carefree and unfocused. Makes u wonder if other coaches are using substances.
You answered your own question, albeit with a question. It was to generate clicks. C'mon by the time this was posted, you'd have to be living under a rock not to know.
So what is your acceptable time frame to talk about current events? Within 12 minutes of it happening?

As others have mentioned, it was click bait. It wasn't to talk about the story.
