Romo got off easy compared to Tim Mccarver...seriously though, if I were Romo I'd approach Deion's "prowess" on the Major League baseball diamond and see how well Sanders can hack it. That would be an ugly subject.

The reality is Deion could not tackle, due to his ability to be a SHUT DOWN CORNER. He's was the truth when playing in the NFL. Richard Sherman wishes he could be Deion. I don't care about the banter back and forth between Deion and Romo. However, I'm not going to criticize him for not tackling, when in all honesty, he hardly ever had to. Not many passes were thrown in his direction.

Not being able to tackle means more than just passes thrown to him. What about running plays or other passing plays where the receiver comes into Deion's side of the field? He sucked at tackling, he knows he sucked at it and it still grates on him that people kid him about it. Being a shut down corner also includes tackling .

Let's be real about it, Deion Sanders was a lousy tackler, it was common knowledge. But he was a cover man, he was one of the best cornerback in the game. He got paid for covering wide receivers, not making tackles. Although it would've been nice if he was good at that too.

Deion shouldn't have taken it so seriously, maybe chuckled and agreed with Romo.

It was a joke and good one. I think Deion went with it and joked back. I don't see any beef here. Both these guys seem pretty comfortable in their own skin.
