If they lose today, they MIGHT not get the 1st round bye.
If they lose today, they MIGHT lose confidence.

Neither of which, we or they want.

Well all their games will have meaning from this point on because they are fighting with Minnesota for the 1 seed.

Yes, all games important until something makes it otherwise.

The Philadelphia Eagles are in the playoffs - and so far, are the #1 seed.

Minnesota losing, Eagles winning, might be flying away with the #1 seed. Good for them (why didn't I pick them to win)?

It was looking bad for the Packers for a while but they pulled it together. So I am guessing Rodgers will be back next week?

Well, million dollar question there! He has to have his shoulder scanned, depending on what it shows, he could be back. He seems to be throwing, players say he is throwing long bombs in practice but is it healed enough he can take a hit?

The Packers, contrary to what Bennett said, are one of the most conservative when it comes to letting players play. The players complain about it, doesn't do any good. If McKenzie says no, it is no.

This is the playoff thread, so I will say, if Rodgers comes back, they have a shot. They have to win out, other key teams lose, slim probably, real slim but it would be quite the story if they did make it. With the injuries in their secondary, defense still has issues, can't see them hanging with the teams that are ahead this year.

Off the top of my head, the NFC teams I remember winning out and making the playoffs are the 2000 Giants and the 2008 Eagles. It's definitely not a easy thing to do.

In 2010, Packers ended up 10-6 by winning their last 2, got 6th seed, went on the road for 3 games to make it to the Super Bowl. They had a good defense, which has been lacking recently.

Yeah sometimes that 6th seed team is hot and scary for teams to face in the playoffs which was the case in 2007 and 2009.
