I keep thinking and mentioning the Denver/Carolina Super Bowl. Denvers defense clearly won that game for Peyton.......overwhelmingly. The Jaguars could follow that same path.
The Jaguars defense this year is pretty good. Not quite as impressive all around as that 2015 Broncos defense was, but it doesn’t need to be because this year’s Jaguars have something the 2015 Broncos lacked: a functional offense. To their credit, that Broncos offense often did come through when it needed to do so, but this year’s Jaguars, Bortles notwithstanding, is far superior to that 2015 Broncos offense. Last week’s game was pretty bad but Bortles has also shown himself capable at points along the way too. Can he keep it up on the playoffs? @ Steelers followed by @ Patriots? With that defense they have a chance.
Um, last time they met in the playoffs, NE only won 20-27 at NE, and KC was very much in it until the end. That is a lot better showing than some other teams have had against NE in the playoffs(like the Titans yesterday).
I’ll have to politely disagree. I watched that 27-20 game and while the Patriots didn’t run away with it they were in control from the start. And despite the final being a 1-score final, it was 27-13 ~8 minutes into the 4th quarter. Reid’s prevent offense tidied up the final score but at no point did the Chiefs ever look like a credible threat to win that game.

Reid is 0-2 against the Patriots in the postseason and 2-4 against them in the regular season. His only win against them when he coached the Eagles was in 1999, before Belichik and Brady showed up. So, no, it doesn't look like he always has a good blueprint for beating them.

Yes.
New England scored less than five minutes into the game and led for the rest of the game. And the final Chiefs touchdown to make it a one-score game came with barely a minute left to play. They never got the ball back and so never even possessed the ball with a chance to tie the game.
There's no real shame in not beating the Patriots much, but Reid's 1-6 record against B & B is worse than the league's composite record against the team since Belicik took over the reins (The rest of the NFL is about .750 against the Pats during that time).
Kansas City beat New England 42-27 at New England(week 1). Considering all the criticism Andy Reid gets, he seems to always have a good blueprint on how to beat New England.
It looks like I'll be 3-0 vs the spread this weekend. We'll see though about Jacksonville hanging on to win outright without Fournette. These dumb players never learn. No excuse for unsportsmanlike penalties such as the one after the fumble return that made it 28-7. Its back to a two possession game at the half, likely because of the silly penalty.
Don't you remember? That was because Donovan McNabb got tired. At least so a certain somebody says.
