AT&T Stadium fell on the Arlington taxpayers. Jerrah paid for some upgrades. I took the tour in September. (3 hour tour)
arlington provided $325 million to help build the stadium, the rest of the $1.5 billion was born out by the NFL $150 million, and jerry jones paying out just over one billion dollars to build the stadium. AT&T bouht the naming rights to the stadium by paying $17 - 19 million per year in the sponsorship deal.
Raiders deserve it after playing in that God-forsaken stadium shared w/ the A's for so many years.....I can't see the other teams trying to keep up w/ these megastadiums - I know my city won't approve of taxes to pay for one.

Yeah, I think it's going to be great.
The Oakland - Alameda County Coliseum wasn't a bad stadium, even as a shared stadium, in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. What ruined it, IMO, was the redo in the mid 90s that was done to get the Raiders to come back from LA.

That's too bad, but my view might not be a popular POV . I'm thinking baseball though. I think you live in a great metro, and it's one of only a few metros I'd consider moving to at least part time at some point. I've never been to a game at Raymond James, but I've been to a number of games at The Trop. Re what I enjoy, the only major thing missing in your metro is a good MLB stadium.
