20 of their 22 starters are signed for next year.
Sidney Jones will be healthy and WILL be a starting cornerback.
On the field, they won't need much - a fast WR, probably a TE or 2, maybe a left guard, and a LB or 2.
Off the field, they will probably need assistant coaches.

Nope. Get the Vikings a more competent QB and they will be a major hurdle to Philadelphia to have to clear next season. 49ers are 2 years away from making a serious run - 2019 season for them.

The 49'ers already have a more competent QB.

49ers should make a Rams type move up the standings next season. That division is going to be pretty tough though.

Most every year a team struggles early, then finds something late starts to click and wins their final few games... they suddenly become the hot TEAM everyone (pundits) pick to make a huge step, win the div.. contend for the Super Bowl the next season.. 9 times out of 10, that doesn't happen... they flounder as they did the previous year.. struggling to find that magic they had as the previous season was ending..

In other words, i will believe it when i see it...

Interesting... watching Inside the NFL.

They are showing the second half highlights and the ref was mic'ed up. On the Clemente catch, the ref said that the ball stuck to his arm. It's allowed to move if he doesn't lose control. They felt it stuck to his arm and he never lost control.

It was a good game & once again the underdogs won. Very good win by the eagles which is my favorite NFC team. The steelers are still #1 with me win or lose.

This whole underdog thing is media stuff IMHO. A #1 seed is not an underdog to another #1 seed. And going into the Super Bowl, most knowledgeable people looked at the rosters and said the Eagles were a better team. There's always the Brady/Belichick factor, but I never thought the Eagles were an underdog in this case.
