I know the biggest NFL fan ever, and now he finally admits college is better.

Goodell has destroyed it

while goodell was a big part with his nit picking rules tinkering, and lack of consistency in applying those rules, there have been other issues as well that make college better than the pros. you cant lay all the blame on gooell.

“Better” will always be subjective. There are a lot of people who still consider the NFL an infinitely superior product. Count me among them. The NFL playoffs are so much better than college bowl season and that half ass playoff the NCAA has.

I once knew the "biggest Cubs fan". She couldn't name any player aside from Kerry Wood and Sammy Sosa. We all know the "biggest fan" of something and they usually don't know jack.

One's opinion does not become fact. Some prefer the NFL while others NCAA. There's no data here.

Goodell is not the problem. He is the mouthpiece for the owners. He works for them and carries the water. He's the straw man. It's a brilliant ruse as so many fall for it hook, line and sinker.

That's quite an analysis you've put together for us.

I watch both and enjoy them. Totally different games and not really comparable at all, nor should they be. One fan changing their opinion about which is better doesn't matter. Saying one fan the biggest NFL fan ever is rather amusing.

We've had the debates about college ball, Goodell many times, everyone has their take. I watch the NFL more than college but I do check how several college teams are doing.

That part is indisputable. The NCAA D1 Football playoffs, albeit exciting some years, are a bit of a joke.

To me it's like having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and debating which makes it better -- the peanut butter or the jelly.
I watch both college and pro. I enjoy both college and pro. Sure there are differences but that doesn't make one inferior to the other.

I know the biggest peanut butter and jelly connoisseur in the whole world and he once pointed out to me that people will occasionally eat just a peanut butter sandwich but no one in their right mind would eat just a jelly sandwich so peanut butter is the key ingredient in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and he would know because of how big of a fan he is of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
