The only hatred that’s gotten out of control is Kaepernick’s — for America. He ‘s an ugly, ungrateful scumbag. Any team that hires him is willfully bringing cancer into its locker room and poisoning its relationship with fans.

How does Kaepernick hate America? I'd argue along with Spurs coach Popovich that Kaepernick is very patriotic.

Pop said it best, "That was a very patriotic thing he (Kaepernick) did. He cared about his country enough to fix some things that were obvious, that everybody knows about but does nothing about."

Wow, speaking of hatred ^

The players, coaches, & locker room would be fine with Keap being on the team. It's clear now that it's the owners, Goodell, & some fans who have an issue with Kaepernick.

Anyways, looks like there was controversy at the workout today, but he at least got the workout moved so he could get it on film, so other teams who couldn't make it will be able to see the tape. Transparency is a good thing.
Also, it looks like his arm is still strong.

I've said this before and I'll say it again:

Kaep is really not that good. And if your going to pull all the off field $#!t that he does.....nobody is going to want that drama and circus surrounding him. Brady, and Roethlisburger, and Brees and Wilson, and probably Flacco (4+ years ago), Matt Ryan, maybe a few others can pull the crap Kaep does and stay employed because they are actually good, decent, competent QBs, so teams will put up with the off field stuff because they know they can get results on the field, so the owners/GM's will look the other way. Kaep isn't going to get results on the field mainly because he hasn't played competitively in almost 4 years, so owners/GM's aren't going to look the other way.
Kaep's second problem: All the teams that could probably use him are more concerned with NOT winning anyways, and with the options those teams currently have, Kaep probably has a better chance to get wins, which at this point in the season they really don't want. So, now not only are you taking on an off-field distraction, you are also improving your chances of not drafting at the highest possible spot so that's a double whammy. And a winning team looking to improve the backup position isn't going to sign him either in a risk at disrupting team chemistry. If your Cincinnati, and your on the fast track to the current #1 pick, why the hell would you sign him?? If your the Texans, why the hell would you sign him?? I'd rather them get the current backup out there, whoever it is, than have the Kaepernick black cloud hovering over what has so far been a terrific season if Watson unfortunately goes down.

To everwinter above:

Does Schefter go onto say how many defenders were on the field?? How many defenders were chasing after him?? How many DB's and safeties in the secondary going after the ball.

My dog could probably throw accurate passes and "look good" if there are no defenders on the field.

Kap wants to be in the NFL so bad that he didn't bother to show up to the private workout set up for exclusively for him by the NFL.

Does he blame his no show on racism in America too. It looks like a lack of confidence in his ability.

I wouldn't mind if the Chargers to signed him, the offense needs a spark and old man Rivers is on the downside. I actually can't wait for Phillip Rivers to retire. Despite the numbers he's put up over the years, he's holding the Chargers back.

Just read the daily news.

Locally,
a man had acid thrown at his face in a hate crime because of the color of his skin

School prom photo, Nazi salute.

It’s a path more and more youth seem to be taking. According to a new FBI report, hate crimes in K–12 schools increased by 37 percent in 2017, and more than 1 in every 10 hate crimes in the U.S. happened at schools and colleges. Data collected by the Anti-Defamation League suggests that anti-Semitic incidents in particular increased last year by 60 percent. Incidents like the one at Baraboo are happening in U.S. schools every day—it’s just that few go viral.
Nationally, Hate Crimes Remain at Heightened Levels

Regarding the workout, turns out Nike says it didn't plan to do a commercial or have a camera crew. The NFL asserted that Nike would be there with a video crew. Nike now wants the NFL to retract their statement. Maybe if the NFL allowed more than 4 days to prepare for this workout, communication could have been better all around.

Why do you go to the politics forum for this kind of commentary.

Kap wasn't a victim of racism in the NFL. He wasn't starting when he started doing his protests in the games.

The NFL has bent over backward for this drama queen. He wants to be a martyr.

A person who has made a lot of money playing a game to include the money he gets from Nike as a result of that exposure is the last person to have a claim to being a victim of racism in this country.

He's not Jackie Robinson.
