Kaepernick does NOT want to play in the NFL or anywhere. He can thus go on being a martyr, and not have to prove he can play. He never really could play at the NFL level consistently. He was a bad quarterback.

It has been denied now, but two years ago Elway said they offered him a chance to try out as a backup, but he said no. He only wanted to be a starter and wanted starter money. No team wants a player that the fans hate either, when he is just average.

I was answering the above posters question they had for me.
It's crazy that stating a fact that someone had acid thrown on their face, would even be political in nature.

I'm just hoping the Lions don't pick him up. Packers still have nightmares of Kaep carving them up in the playoffs. Though, that was more Dom Capers bad defense scheme & he's gone now.

Most violent crime doesn't involve white people attacking black people or other minorities. You seem to cherrypick what you talk about to match up with your political narratives.

Nobody has ever said there has been no crimes against minorities but you've provided no evidence it is prevalent.

One person throwing acid in the face of somebody is not a trend.

@ everwinter

Since you keep bringing up hate crimes statistics (which have nothing to do with Kaep) it's important to note that hate crime statistics are flawed. Immensely so. Don't take my word for it. Takes a moment to research Michael Kadar. He is part of the 'hate crime spike" in your linked article.

As for Kaep's arm strength, Kyle Boller also had a strong arm. A famous strong arm at that. Heck, if he came around A few years later he would have been a viral star.

You keep touting a guy that will not acknowledge his own mistakes. Kaep asked the NFL to stop running from him on Saturday. He is the one running away. He spit in the face of the Ravens (an issue you refuse to acknowledge along with Kaep). He pulled an audible yesterday that left less teams watching hid workout. Other players took a knee and remained in the NFL. They avoided the extra-curricular activities like the pig socks and wearing a Castro shirt in Miami. Mind you at a time when his on field performance was regressing.

Kaep brought all of this on himself. At the end of the day he didn't bring enough to the table to be worth the headache.

Does he blame his no show on racism in America too. It looks like a lack of confidence in his ability.

well said, all of you. the reality is that kaepernick does not want an NFL contract. he has been offered a number of them, and has either turned them down or sabotaged them so they would be retracted.

kaepernicks antics are well documented, and he is a disruption in the locker room as well as off the field. he is a prima donna without the abilities of those that could be prima donnas. in the end kaepernick has done this to himself.

I honestly never heard about the ravens story and will read up on it and respond later today if the thread is still open. I’m at a church event now. I stopped paying attention to the Kaepernick news a few years ago but now find his story interesting and especially the response of the nfl and fans.

He moved the workout an hour away at the last minute. What a diva. It’s not just skill level (his deep balls were meh), it’s the disruption he brings with him. I’d be looking at the competition, he’s risky.

He was just trying to get his name back in the news for his Nike contract.
