Let's just say, I have learned over the years to expect such quarterbacks to regress to the mean. Happens every time once opposing defenses look at enough film. He doesn't have the abilities in the passing department to be an MVP caliber player over 16 games. Same thing is starting to catch up to Lamar Jackson. Taking longer, thanks to a great offensive coach, and a whole other level of ability with his legs from other top running quarterbacks. But Jackson slowly is regressing as well to being "he is who we thought he was".
Did Mahomes and Jackson regress to the mean in their MVP seasons though?
Jackson is a terrifically talented player. His floor is around Mike Vick's prime. But I agree in the sense that Allen might end up being the best QB out of that class.
As a Bills fan I can tell you that their are a lot of things wrong with the team over the last four games but nearly none of them have anything to do with Allen. Yesterday's game was the first game they had their receiving core fully healthy again. But the 20+ mph winds dictated that the Bills would run the ball and they did for a season high in rushing yards.
The Chargers are the first team in NFL history to blow four leads of 16 points or more in four straight games in which they held such a lead. How of all teams, did you manage to let that happen was a subpar Denver offense??
Denver looked dead in the water, too. I thought SD had that game well in hand...but then I remembered that the Chargers have been doing the Falcon thing longer than the Falcons...

Packers have issues with the virus but as of now the game will be played. It is their #3 RB, he's been playing because Aaron Jones has a calf issue. Hope he is better because #2 and #3 RB can't play because of protocol. I think they've got another RB on the PS but if he's been close to the others, we'll see.
LaFleur's offense goes through the run game half of the time, it will be interesting to say the least.
