SO I am guessing that there was concern over injury risk by adding a 17th game, or maybe Goodell fears that there will not be fans in the stands, for whatever reason, this seems like a more college idea but leave it to Goodell to come up with something like this

SO here is what is happening Random fans will register to participate in the game. Apparently, they must be true fans, no prior pro or semipro experience. A day before the game, they will be contacted, will meet with league and team officials, then will be suited up and playing the next day. And Goodell seems to think people will like this !
