Super Bowl LVIII (58). Sunday, 11 Feb 2024, 6:30PM EST. Las Vegas. Kansas City Chiefs vs San Francisco 49ers.
I'll go with the 49ers, a sentimental favorite, though I expect the Chiefs to win.

I certainly think that SF is the stronger team overall.
but.. KC isn't a slouch.. PLUS they have experience Look.. The SB isn't a regular season game. It's not the Championship game. There's so many distractions.. They'll be in Vegas. Though, apparently will be kept away from all that entails for the most part.. KC has been through this circus.. SF has as well, but.. It was 4 years ago(?) and much of the team has turned over since then..
I'll take KC simply based on the experience in the Super Bowl. Though.. SF is the better overall team and if they can handle the pressure.. They probably should win.

I agree about the SB experience factor.
I think people are sleeping on just how good KC's defense is with the Chiefs giving up 10 points to a Ravens team that put up 33 on San Fran at Christmas.
It's all Mahomes and Kelce in the media.
Also, the Chiefs just beat a very hot Buffalo team on the road and then the Ravens...on the road.
Chiefs @ 49ers-I'm obviously taking my Niners as I do every week. I'm not that confident though since it is Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, and Travis Kelce going for his 3rd Super Bowl win. We've been waiting for the Chiefs to peak all season and they've really turned it on in the playoffs winning 2 road games against 2 formidable foes. My 49ers have survived our 2 games against the Pack and Lions. Our defense needs to step up in a big way. It isn't like KC's offense has been explosive the last 2 weeks. They're averaging 22 points in their 2 playoff games. 49ers have averaged 29, albeit against weaker defenses. SF can stop KC with our best defensive effort. I'm more concerned about the Chiefs D than their offense. Brock Purdy needs to stay within himself, manage the game, and not turn the ball over. There needs to be heavy reliance on CMC who is my MVP. Ravens abandoned the run last week, which I believe contributed to their demise. We need to run, run, and run some more. Pound the rock with CMC, reverses with Aiyuk, Deebo out of the wildcat, and Purdy scrambling. Super Bowls oftentimes are defensive battles. I think first to 20 wins. I hope it's my Niners by a score of 20-17. However, I could see the NFL scriptwriters having the Chiefs win if Taylor Swift is there. Travis Kelce could retire after the win, propose to Taylor, and they could ride off into the sunset and next concert. This game is already projected to be the most watched Super Bowl of all-time.
