Hey guys. Stereotypes might be over-generalizing, but just for fun, I'm curious to know what the stereotypes are for each NFL fanbase out there.
Here's a few typical ones I've heard:
Oakland Raiders: "Raucous and rude hooligans, but more bark than bite"
Philadelphia Eagles: "Loyal and loud, but extremely rude, unfriendly, and intimidating
Yes, they're the bad stereotypes... so one think I really want to know is, what are some good stereotypes about fans? Which fans are famous for being hospitable, classy, and friendly?
And in terms of team-specific stereotypes, the three I'm most curious about are Chargers, 49ers, and Seahawks. What are the stereotypes for these three teams?
Although if you know stereotypes for other fanbases, do tell! I want to know everything about your typical ______________ fan!
Maybe I'll add to this list until I have stereotypes for all 32 teams
Stereotypes are never good... but in this case, they're fun
And I don't mean to offend anyone by this thread! It's all in good fun.

In this category I've heard St Louis and Green Bay are favorites.
As for the Chargers, 49ers, ans Seahawks....Well I know Seattle is known for being loud, and the 12th man, but I think thats something recent. SD is probably ok, SF? well they used to have a lot of fans

Chargers fan here, if there is any stereotype about us it might be having a lot of fair weather fans. However, the key word here is stereotype. We still have yet to win a Super Bowl and have had a lot of bad seasons, but there are plenty of loyal fans who have supported this team through thick and thin. The following and loyalty might not be as strong as it is in let's say Green Bay where there's a lot more history, but not every fan here is fair weather.

Don't know about the ones you are asking about but I can tell you Panther fans are VERY fair weather. When we are winning, everyone loves them. When we are losing, mgmt sucks, players suck, blah, blah, blah. Can't stand it!
Eagles fans are described as being vile and rude. Cowboys fans are described as rude as well. NY fans (either team) are very rough and will turn on their teams in a heartbeat. Those are the main ones I've heard about.

Cowboys fans are rude?
We didn't cheer our heads off when someone was lying motionless on the field.

The question was what are the stereotypes and that's what I gave. I think it stems from the fact that Cowboys fans can't handle any negative comments without over reacting

Who's over reacting? I've heard alot of stereotypes about Cowboys fans and the Cowboys organization itself, but that's the first time I've ever seen anything about us being rude.
Overly prideful, yes, but rude ????

And being overly prideful can most definitely come across as rude a lot of times. There is a guy on the sports station here who is a Cowboy fan and he is rude about everything when it comes to them. Even paying them a compliment, he has to be ugly about another team. And he's not the only one I've encountered so, yeah, rude.

I don't know that I'd say Cowboys fans are rude, but they do talk a lot of smack.
As a Colts fan, I take great interest in the bitterness of Baltimore fans.
