Bills hire the NFL's first ever full time female assistant coach coach. Pretty cool.

Kathryn Smith hired by Buffalo Bills as NFL's first full-time female assistant

You are starting to see more women hired in football lately...female official, the last on the cardinals, think a female was hired for a scout team, now this....

If they are good, who cares...just my 2 sense.

Well it looks like we are all in with the Ryan Express. Now there will be no excuses if the team tanks. I for one don't buy all his excuses about not having communication with the players until the last 2 meaningless games. As an experienced head coach you should know all these things. If he was a former college coach in his first season that's one thing but this is his 7th year. A good coach would have worked with what he had instead of trying to prove the previous DC was not in his league, we would have been much better off. We will see next year what happens with a tougher schedule and a full year to implement his "system". He has not had a winning season since 2010, read into it what you will.

I'm fine with criticism. I've been critical of players and coaches at times in the past. But I'm not sure I'd be able to find one positive comment from you ever. I would hate to have your constant negative mindset. It makes me wonder if you are actually a fan.

I have been a fan since they played in the rockpile. I am discouraged because I think Rex is not the answer and all this talk is just arranging deck chairs on the Titanic. The defense took a big step back and if it had remained the same and we had Tyrod we might have made the playoffs. Another wasted opportunity with an easy schedule, next year it will be much tougher. After 50 plus years of excuses and missed opportunities I am not that optimistic. The Pegulas are wonderful folks and eventually they will get it worked out but in the meantime this is so frustrating.

LOL.

I love the fact that we have a tough schedule next year on paper. If we can make the playoffs with that scheduled we will have finally arrived. And more importantly we will have a QB finally.

I'm a firm believer in giving a coach three years to produce. However, with Rex, I'd be okay with ditching him if we finish 7-9 or worse next year. If we go 8-8 I think we evaluate what happened during the season and then decide how to handle it. Finish with a winning record and I think he should stay regardless.
