Big shame. What a year for athletes being hit by dealings with the opposite sex.

- Arturo Gatti killed in Brazil under suspicious circumstances after dispute with wife.

- Tiger Woods caught; career disrupted; marriage ruined;

- Steve McNair killed by girlfriend

- Shaq in a divorce and allegedly having an affair with Gilbert Arenas' fiancee

- now Chris Henry dies during dispute with fiancee.

RIP Chris Henry

Something told me the end for Chris Henry would have ended up this way. He just didn't have enough time to turn things around in his life.

Exactly. What is it about wives of famous sports figures who think they own their husbands? They HAVE to know the deal going in.

At this point, you have to ask yourself JUST HOW STUPID IS ELIN NORDEGREN?? I mean how stupid do you have to be to "ignore" that many women, and we've only scratched the surface.

Women who get with famous men get a taste of that life, and suddenly believe that they are the ones under the spotlight.

The myth of romantic monogamy, successfully perpetuated by women, simply does not apply to men. Male physiology REQUIRES the man to seek many partners. it's just the garbage philosophy of monogamy that has placed so many, many men under a harsh spotlight for being themselves.

I'm a Bengal fan and I am very saddened about this. It's a shame that such a young life is snuffed out especially when he was getting his life back together.

RIP Slim.

RIP Slim.
It's obviously that he had not fixed the things in his life that he needed to fix. His own actions led to his death.

It's still sad for a young father to die, but don't believe for a second that he had turned his life around.
