Nothing says "in your face" more than the season Brett Favre had this year. I am so glad for him. (But, I hate it that the Vike's dismantled the Cowboys today!)
Good luck to the Vikings and especially #4. Kick some *ss and take some names all the way to the trophy in Miami.
I am a SAINT & love BRETT FARVE, though I wish he would have lost so we could have dismantled the cowboys, but I love the way he kicked there AZZ. Now knowing what a fierce competetior he is I know we more than have our hands full next weekend.
Favre torched the Niners enough times to earn my respect. The man is an incredible quarterback, HOF absolutely. I enjoy watching him play and feel fortunate that I have witnessed his great career. Glad the Vikes beat the Cowboys!
Favre did well today there is no denying that...but you got to hand it to the defense for an outstanding game. Those guys were playing like pro's the entire game. And without that Favre wouldn't have been on the field as much as he was.
I do think they are going to have their hands full next week. They haven't done so well on the road. As long as no one get's hurt...and they have a good time...they can't complain about the season.
Favre is a pretty good quarterback who is having arguably the greatest season of his career, however he's cost his teams far too many games over the years and he's run off several players with his ego.
I'd put him a notch or two below the truly elite quarterbacks in this league.
No football game was ever won due to one player. It takes the entire team. Favre could have the best game of his life next week...but without some considerable focus and from the gut git er done by the rest of the team...it will all be for naught. I hope this last win gives them the confidence they need to get the job done. But being an away game...they will need some luck as well.
Favre, will obviously be known as one of the best if not the best QBs in NFL history, I would love to see him take the Vikings to the superbowl. In this day of immature prima dona athletes Favre is a class act.
