While not unexpected, a class act - Kurt Warner, has retired from the NFL.

Not only a winner on the field, but off the field as well

We wish him, and his lovely family, well in whatever direction Kurt takes.

We will miss you Kurt

He will be missed. No better role model in Arizona sports. Maybe in Arizona period, or sports period.

Thanks for everything, Kurt.

They just don't make them like that anymore. It will be nice if they stay in the Valley.

I am both glad and sad...I am a huge Warner fan...love his game, his family values, character and most everything about him....and am really going to miss him playing for my Cards.
But at the same time I am concerned for his health and think he is doing the right thing....Go Kurt...we love you!!!!

And contrary to popular opinion, I think Matt Lienart has got the goods....and will keep the Cards in the playoffs.

2 of my favorite Cardinals have retired within a week.

Bert Berry and Kurt Warner.

Ironic: My favorite Bert Berry moment is when he sacked Warner 4 teams in a Cards victory over the Giants in SDS in 04.

Definitely one of the classiest players to ever take the field. Hats off to you Kurt, and thanks for the memories.
