The difference is Delhomme has had playoff and Super Bowl experience. While I understand that he is not the future of the Cleveland Browns, and near the end of his career, he has the experience and leadership to mentor a young QB. I was hoping that Quinn would have panned out considering we gave up a 1st round pick to get him, but it was not to be. That said, I feel with Holmgren and Heckert in charge we are on our way to finally righting the ship and returning this franchise to respectability. I know Browns fans are sick of hearing this, but we must have patience!

Yes Ohiogirl, that is true LOL! But I think Lerner got it right this time! Keep in mind he inherited the team from his dad. Had his dad not passed away, I think that things would have gone in the right direction much sooner. I mean, when they hired Butch Davis, he took them from 3-13 in 00 to 7-9 in 01. They actually were in the play off hunt until they fell off in the end. In 02 they got in. In that same season Al Lerner passed away, and that is when I believe everything became unhinged. Randy was trying to get his feet wet as an owner, and in the meantime too many egos were in the mix.

I like what I hear from Mike Holmgren. He is speaking in absolutes, and it's a nice change from the circus atmosphere of late. I'm excited about the future of this team.
