The Steelers were stupid for passing on him, I remember the Steelers' owners last words before he died "I wish I had drafted Dan Marino" and that is a true story

When I spoke to him a year before he went pro, while at U of Pitt, he thought he was going to be a Steeler and was thrilled. My aunt cried her eyes out when he went to Miami.

Did your Aunt wanted him to be a Pittsburgh Steeler? The Miami Dolphins got a steal and I bet the Steelers regrets passing on him ever since

My aunt was kind of a mentor to him while in college. She worked for the U of Pitt and part time for Penn State back in the day. This is how I was introduced to him. The running joke was that we had the same birthday but I was 10 years younger.

Washington Redskins for Pro and Virginia Cavaliers for College, will watch and well wish Maryland Terrapins and Virginia Tech Hokies.

Also Philly is second home so I enjoy watching the Eagles and Temple Owls.
