Camcorders today, next to computers, cameras, game consoles. Are one of the fun-filled gadgets around. Looking back around 30 years ago, you'd have your old VHS camcorder clunker. It was heavy and hard to control the focus.

Today I give you the Sony Handycam HDR-CX550V. A handycam like no other. This camcorder has many features like, model highlights: 1920 x 1080 Full HD video recording, 12-megapixel images, 64GB embedded Flash memory, "Exmor R" CMOS sensor, wide-angle G Lens, 10x optical zoom, Optical SteadyShot, built-in GPS receiver, 1920 x 1080 high definition video recording 12 megapixel still image capture w/ Dual Record 64GB1.

Flash memory 1/2.88" wide angle G-Lens (26.3mm) 2x faster Quick AF 1080/60p playback via, HDMI and compatible HDTV4 Up to 24Mbps AVCHD2 video 3.5" Wide3 Xtra Fine TruBlack LCD, (921K) Dolby Digital 5.1ch recording with built-in Zoom Mic Smile Shutter technology for still and dual capture, Intelligent Auto (iAUTO). There's tons more specs, but here's the price for now, a cherry $1,199.00.

This camera is very expensive. But now you know why it is. This handycam you can take anywhere, its use is for any age. Personally I'd have insurance. The name Sony means you're getting the best camcorder on the market. I'm partially biased to Sony products, but I have my full faith in this product you won't be disappointed.

Most camcorders don't have nearly as many features as the Sony Handycam HDR. Being a top of the line camcorder. You can be at ease you're getting everything and more that you need. In fact, Sony products are highly versatile.

If you don't know much about today's technology, and you can afford this handycam, I recommend you consider its purchase, your kids can always teach you.
