White Westing House Portable Heater Model WBH 1502
Rating: 5 out of 5
I have this small 12 volts, 1500 watts White Westing House space heater for about three years now which costs about $30. It has 3-temperature levels for me to choose from low, medium and high plus a fan button. There is a handle at the back of for me to easily transfer it from one location to another. It is convenient and I can just put it in any corner of the house or place it even on top of a table or anything because it is super light.
My White Westing House space heater came with a safety feature in case the temperature of the area gets too high or there is an object obstructing the passage of air, the heater has an inbound thermostat that will temporarily cut off the power supply and the alarm sound will go off until the cause of problem is removed. I never observed the alarm activated so far because I always keep the temperature at low level.
My heater is effective and works fine in heating any space and it is more efficient when placed in a closed room. It is small so it's actually intended to heat a bedroom. If I am in an open space for example watching a TV in my living room, I need to put my heater close to me to have enough heat especially during a very cold weather.
For me it is impractical to run the house furnace all the time ,heat the entire house when I am alone most of the time .My portable heater works great for me because I can move it in any corner wherever I go around the house. It can heat a space enough for me to stay warm during the winter season. The operation is quiet, I never experience any incidence of over-heating and I find it really safe to use. I'm very satisfied with my portable White Westing House heater. It's a great buy!
