This is a great home coffee maker for under $100. Bunn has a history of making exceptional coffee makers and this model is no exception. This coffee maker only has an on/off switch and no fancy buttons, but it still is a magnificent coffee maker for those who want a simple and easy coffee maker. The reservoir style brewer makes up to 10 cups of coffee in only 3 minutes.
The inside water tank is sturdy, stainless steel. Inside of the tank, an internal thermostat keeps the water at an optimal temperature for a great pot of tasty coffee. Many coffee makers do not reach temperatures high enough to provide a tasty, flavorful cup of coffee but the Bunn model does. The spray-head design significantly improves the coffee flavor.
The glass decanter is extremely durable, and the warming plate keeps coffee piping hot all day. The only drawback is that the coffee becomes stale over time from sitting out. For heavy coffee drinkers, this is not an issue. These coffee makers are made of commercial rated material for a stronger, sturdier coffee maker. In addition, there is a 3 year limited warranty if any unforeseen problems arise.
The Bunn coffee machine comes with a close and brew lid that is user friendly. The filter is easy to use as well. Users just slide the filter holder out, place a traditional coffee filter in the coffee maker, and enjoy great coffee in seconds. There are no special filters needed like other coffee makers. Users need to make sure to center the coffee pot directly under the filter so that there is not a mess to clean. This is a minor issue that many may not deal with it the pot sits properly on the warmer. Replacement parts must come from the company directly. The parts are inexpensive but the shipping adds up. The newer models of coffee makers by Bunn are great but not quite as sturdy as the older ones. This is not a big enough issue not to buy this product but needs consideration before buying.
This coffee maker is a great buy for the price. It is extremely durable and easy to use. The warmer makes it easy to pour a hot cup of coffee any time of the day. The coffee maker is easy to clean with slight maintenance for the user.
