The LG Microwave Oven Orbit LRM1230W is a very unique microwave oven. It features a curved back that allows items that would normally be too big to rotate to turn with ease. This microwave features a tempered glass plate that is in the traditional round format. The computer in the Orbit is nothing short of amazing, allowing for pre-programmed melting features as well as defrost options that are specific for the type of food that is being prepared.

The LG Microwave Oven Orbit is no longer on the market, but it cost $99.00 when it was originally on sale in 2005. It was featured in various stores including Best Buy due to its connections with the LG phone and computer company. This well designed and durable microwave was customizable, enabling the user to turn off the beeps and change the volume of the alarm. This easy to use oven also had preprogrammed settings as well as customizable settings that allowed an individual to prepare their favorite meals quickly and easily.

The LG Microwave Oven Orbit was an easy microwave to clean. The interior was made of a non-stick plastic. The interior is also round which eliminates the difficulties associated with cleaning the corners. The glass plate was removable, as was the rotation plastic arms that it sat on. Since the buttons are covered in plastic, they can be sprayed and wiped clean without damaging the microwave. This helped to keep the microwave very sanitary and safe to use. The durable hinges were not known to break and the flat buttons are known for being able to take a lot of abuse. The latches hold the microwave door in place with ease and do not need to be pushed into place as with other microwaves.

The LG Microwave Oven Orbit was a 1200 watt oven, making it a very strong and fast microwave oven. The oven capacity was 1.2 squared feet, allowing it to hold a chicken with ease. The contoured interior ensured that the chicken would not hit the sides of oven as it cooks. There was a 1 year parts and labor warranty and a 10 year Magnetron warranty offered standard with this microwave.

The lack of color choices was a down side to the LG Microwave Oven Orbit. It only came in white, which does not work in some kitchens. However, this microwave oven did make up for that downfall with the rest of its very helpful features and innovative styling.
