Our whirlpool gold over the range microwave is just over a year old. Our on the counter microwave broke so we decided to get one that went over the stove. This whirlpool microwave has a start and cancel button, a cook, reheat and defrost setting, three quick tough settings, a cook power button, a digital display, cook top light, vent fan, a display with many settings and more.
I am really happy with my whirlpool microwave. I like how fast it will heat things up. It is a powerful microwave. Even when we heat things up on 50% power it will make them hot fast. The three quick touch settings are especially nice because they have a pre set time to heat depending on the size of the item.
Like the popcorn setting which we use most often. You press the popcorn button and select the size of the bag of popcorn it needs to make. Then press start and it does its magic. The defrost setting is amazing. It will defrost a package of hamburger meat in less than three minutes. The light has a high and a low setting. I like this because when we are watching a movie we can have the light on and it is just enough light to see when you go into the kitchen but not so much that you are blinded going from a dark room to a light room. The turn table is removable so it is very easy to clean the table and the inside of the microwave.
I can honestly say I love my microwave and I do not have anything negative to say about this microwave. I feel this microwave is well worth the money we spent on it and I would definitely recommend it to any and all who are looking for a microwave to go over their range.
