The iRobot Roomba 610 Professional Series vacuum makes vacuuming fun and less of a chore. You can schedule up to seven schedules for the Roomba to clean and when done cleaning, the Roomba will automatically return to its base to recharge itself.
This cleaning dynamo makes vacuuming a breeze, but it is important to pick up those miscellaneous items you don't want it to get stuck on. The Roomba can detect when an area is really dirty and focus more time on cleaning that area. The Roomba can even recognize cords and reverse the motor, but it can't always navigate around paper left on the floor. So, save yourself some time and pick up those stray items.
What I like the most about the Roomba are the three cleaning modes: clean, max, and spot. The Roomba also comes with two Virtual Wall Lighthouses that will either mark areas as off-limits. Along with the self-charging base, you get two brush cleaning tools; an extra set of brushes a rechargeable battery, two extra filters, a debris bin, a high capacity sweeper bin, and a storage case.
The downside is that a lot of time cleaning the brushes and it is not that great on corners. But, you can sleep while your carpet is being vacuumed so, cleaning brushes isn't a big deal. And you can pull out that broom to edge those corners.
Pros
Timer that allows you to set your own cleaning schedules
Detects cords
Auto detects when area is dirtier and focuses more time on cleaning it
Virtual lighthouses that allow you to mark areas as off-limits
Three cleaning modes that allow the Roomba to focus on your cleaning needs
Cons
Not great on corners
Make sure to pick up those small items. If not, you can wake up and find your magazine stuck to the bottom of the machine.
