Husky 54 in. Workbench with Storage
Rating: 4 out of 5
I had been griping about needing a new workbench for several months when my wife bought me the Husky 54 inch workbench for my birthday. From the moment I had it assembled I have enjoyed having such a great place too organize my tools, store various materials and have a place to work. About the only complaint I have with the Husky workbench is that it could be a little larger and accommodate more tools.
The Good:
the Husky workbench is made out of stainless steel and provides a great deal of space for both tools and other supplies. While it is a big item, it was suprisingly easy to put together. Along with a great functionality the Husky workbench is also very nicely priced at $200 which in my opinion is quite the bargain.
The Bad:
My only complaint about the Husky workbench is that the 23 inch depth of the table is not quite big enough for a lot of the things I tend to work on. This means that more often than not I have to drag over a sawhorse and piece of plywood to get enough space to effectively work on my projects. Also I wish they had provided a little more tool space as there are still many tools that I use frequently but do not have room for on the rack of the workbench.
In the end while I might wish the Husky were a bit larger, I can not really complain. Not only does it provide a great place to store tools, but it also does work quite nicely as a workbench even if on occasion I have to gimmick up more room. If you are looking for a good work bench at a more than fair price, I would suggest you give the Husky a look.
