The best feature of this refrigerator is that the stainless-steel facade looks clean, modern, and slightly more expensive than it really is. The worst feature of this refrigerator is that is is very poorly made. Within a year of owning the appliance, the seal around the door of the freezer partly peeled off and caused every item of frozen food to thaw and lump together. Also, though it does not compromise the actual functionality of the product, the tiny "GE" logo attached to the front of the freezer fell off with no provocation.
Besides the major pros and cons, the appliance is good for small spaces, doesn't frost up in the freezer, and the temperature (and therefore energy output) is easily adjusted. This is particularly important for me, when using less energy is a priority. The shelf in the freezer (GE calls is the "Ice N' Easy Tray") is surprisingly useful, given its odd-looking step design. All drawers and shelves move easily to the many different available slots, which allowed me to customize the shelves to accommodate food containers used in my very small catering business. Things like large sheet cakes fit on the bottom and, with a small adjustment, tall beverage containers can fit on a middle shelf or on the spacious door shelves. Beside the door seal (which is not an insignificant problem) the appliance has performed well, maintaining a good temperature overall, with few of the "cold" or "warm" spots you can get with cheaper models.
The appliance itself is decent for the money. But, like I said earlier, the best feature is that it looks good. If you are looking for a smallish, relatively inexpensive, stainless-steel refrigerator, this might not be a bad option. However, if you are looking at this model with a different finish, it probably isn't worth it. You can find non-stainless-steel refrigerators with much better construction and features.
