The rail-sights, though pearl-white and standing out quite well against the cherry wood finish, could perhaps be a bit larger for those with not the best eyesight. The hanging fringe from the pockets can also be a bit of a problem if you have curious animals around the house.

For these few inconveniences, the Danbury Contender still more than makes up for them with the sleek design. The legs of the table can be sculpted one of three ways: in traditional ball and claw form, (for the true animal lover), the classy ram's head, featuring a circling horn pattern on the sides, and the smooth, featureless Queen Anne style.
