Cuisinart CWC-800 Private Reserve Wine Cellar

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

Cuisinart is heralded as one of the world's top companies in the field of home appliances. It only makes sense that the company has made one of the best wine cellars on the market. The CWC-800 is a wine cellar from Cuisinart in the company's Private Reserve line. It is a wine cellar that does more than just hold wine bottles. It is also something that is very easy for anyone to control.

The CWC-800 works as a wine cellar that can hold about eight bottles of wine. These bottles can be handled through four separate shelves. Each of these shelves has a series of grooves that will work to ensure that all wine bottles are going to stay in place and that they will not collide with each other, thus protecting the wine that one has.

The racks are also removable. The racks as they were arranged were good enough to handle 750mL bottles of wine. However, by removing individual racks it was easy to get 1500mL bottles of wine stored in the wine cellar.

An electronic touchpad can be used on the cellar. This is convenient in that it will help to ensure that the wine in the cellar can be chilled to a proper level. The temperature can be adjusted from 39 to 68 Fahrenheit. This will work to ensure that the wine will be cool while at the same time not frozen.

The cooling system works with a thermoelectric finish. This means that the cellar will work quietly and with efficiency. The wine cellar did not bother anyone during tests with regards to sound.

The appearance also fit in very well with other home appliances in the room. The stainless steel finish is something very appealing in that it was able to fit in with other materials in the same room. The fact that this wine cellar has a interior light that can be turned on and off without opening up the door is a great addition to see too. This benefit is something that will make this a very beneficial wine cellar for any home to use.

Amazingly enough Cuisinart makes this product for only $159. This is a surprise in that it is comparable with other wine cellars of the same type. The biggest surprise is that I expected it to be worth more primarily because it is under such a high level name like Cuisinart.
