Dremel 4.8V MiniMite Cordless Rotary Tool
I wanted this particular tool for as long as I could remember and finally got it for myself last year. I purchased the tool and some accessories from Lowes for around $29.99, which is the manufacturer's retail price today. This little gem of a tool really does a lot of things. The main reason for my purchase was to do small home repairs and projects and to use when crafting.
There were small sharp areas on my patio furniture and the entire set needed sanding, because of some rust spots. I used the attachment for sanding and was able to sand down the rough edges and to remove a great deal of the rust from the chairs. I was able then to repaint them and save a lot of money. They look brand new and costs very little to redo. I also love to make simple projects such as ottomans which take a basic shell of plywood. I have used the little Dremel Rotary Tool for this purpose also to sand down the corners and other rough edges.
My husband used it to smooth out areas of molding he was installing along the base of our bedrooms after we had installed laminate flooring. The tool was also good for smoothing out the rougher edges of the laminate boards that were left after the saw cut the edges for installation.
The only downfall if you can call it one is the limited life of about 2 and
