ProForm 385 CSX Recumbent Bike

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

If you are looking for a versatile space saving option for exercise, the ProForm 385 CSX Recumbent Bike PFEX71808 is a great option to choose. You will have safety, comfort, and fitness in the privacy of your own home.

The bike has a heart monitor built into the handles and includes a port for the all important IPod. You have eight workouts to choose from and interactive coach to motivate you through your exercises. There is also a way to adjust the intensity of your workout via a button. The attached fan will help to keep you cool while working out. You also have a digital display that provides displays calories burned, speed, and distance et cetera.

Assembly of the machine is quick and easy. The manual was very easy to understand. The bike has a sleek design and is comfortable to sit on. The bike is designed to ridden in a slightly reclined position. The reclined configuration makes it the perfect choice for someone who cannot ride a bike in the traditional way or who has troubles sitting for long periods of time. The best part of the design is that it saves space, a lot of space. This bike could literally sit in a corner of your bedroom and not take up much space.

Most of the user reviews on this bike have not been positive. The issues, for the most part, resulted from poor shipping. Other users did not find the bike challenging. And at least one user had mechanical issues right before the 90 day warranty ended. I did not have any of these issues. The bike was just right for me and there were no mechanical issues. The bike costs $229 and the warranty is for 90 days.
