General Electric Nautilus Convertible

Rating: 5 out of 5

It seems ridiculous in this day and age not to have a dishwasher, but the fact of the matter is that I washed dishes by hand for the first two years we were in this house, simply because I didn't know that this type of dishwasher existed. It hooks up to the kitchen sink and releases water into the sink. That is amazing to me. I love that I can hook it up when I need it and put it away when I don't. It is quite possibly one of the best investments I have made in a long time. It's very easy to use and almost as easy to set up.

I was initially concerned about the amount of hot water that it would use, but I found out that water is heated in the machine itself, so the supply of water in your house is never effected. How great is that.

I have also had it run during the day when we are gone, so the 1-6 hour choice there is a great idea. I think it is an especially good choice for renters, since this dishwasher could be turned into a regular, non-portable dishwasher if you get somewhere that allows it. Smaller spaces might also benefit from the butcher block top of the machine, which can easily be used like an island.

I chose it in black, I noticed that you could get it in white as well. I absolutely adore this machine and happily give it 5 stars. If you are considering it, do yourself a favor and buy it as soon as you can. You won't be disappointed. My only regret is that I didn't know about this type of dishwasher sooner. I could have saved the wear and tear on my hands.
