The EMAX 60-Gallon 18-HP Two-Stage Truck-Mount Air Compressor is one of the most prominent air compressors today. The gas drive series, has a two-stage cast iron pump. Its quiet, low RPM design makes it ideal for outside usage. It has a top-quality rating of up to 50,000 hours.
The pros of the air compressor consists of excellent torque and fuel efficiency, long life and proven durability, maximum air flow & reliability with low replacement cost. The pump life is up 50% more than other air compressors, including its streamlined cooler operating temperature.
The cost of the unit is a whopping $3,599.99. Compared to other air compressors, it's one of the more expensive ones. The unit has a powder coat, and is ASME certified. Changing the oil is quick and easy. The unit isn't easily to lug around, it weighs at 610 pounds.
There's not many cons with the compressor, besides the mammoth weight. The cost is a bit expensive, even for the average joe. The warranty for serviced parts is 2 years, which isn't very good considering the price of the unit.
This air compressor is good for outdoor conditions, its storage should be used in a medium sized garage, or small storage unit. The unit is great for a small business, and enthusiasts alike.
Overall - The unit by its cost, durability, size, safety, and usage; makes for a great air compressor. Still, compared to other air compressors, (not just because it's top of the line), the name will speak for itself, (but you'd have to buy or test one to know for sure). I give this unit a rating 5/5. Because of the specs, pricing, performance, and name. I recommend this product to anyone.
