Breville BFP650 Kitchen Wizz Food Processor

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

I have not had this product very long, only a few months, but I am very happy with it so far. It wasn't the cheapest one but I usually use Breville products so it came down to brand preference. It also looks quite nice too.

I don't use a food processor daily, but more often then before because this one is very convenient and simple to use and it came with all the little extras to make it easier, such as a measuring cup. I love when I am using it that I don't have to stop and move the food around myself and scrape the sides to get an even consistency which is what I had to do with my previous one.

Usually when I do use a food processor it is for very large amounts of food and the quantity this holds is excellent. I mainly use this to make soup and it has no problem with the pumpkin or anything, the blades are extremely sharp and the product is very powerful. The blade action is unique and makes it work a lot quicker then other one where the blades sort of just stay basically working on the bottom.

Cleaning is very easy, I put the parts necessary in the dishwasher and everything is clean. I have a lot of storage space for appliances, but otherwise you would need a good amount of space to store this. If using it a lot it would be better stored somewhere easily accessible (i.e not on the bottom shelf behind other things) because it is quite bulky and heavy to lift.

Safety wise it is also good. It has an auto cut out feature which means it will automatically turn off if overloaded to prevent other damage. I've used it for extended periods to make a number of different things on the same day and this has never happened so I think for the machine to overheat it must be very excessive use or possibly adding too much at once.
