The Whirlpool Energy Star Washing Machine (WTW7600XW)

The Whirlpool Energy Star Washing Machine bills itself as ecologically friendly, with an "EcoBoost" option that allows more efficient washing and usage of water and an Eco Monitor that shows your overall energy savings per cycle, a great feature for those who like to track their savings.

The Energy Star has a huge 5.2 Cu. Ft. stainless steel wash basket, which allows you to do three traditional loads of laundry at a time and an H2Low wash system sensor that will fill the machine with water to the level of clothes you have in the basket, so you can fill it to capacity, or do just a handful of items, and not have to worry that you will use too much water, or that it will not fill up as much as you need.

The Energy Star has thirteen automatic cycles, including a quick wash cycle, a bulky items cycle, a delicate cycle, casual cycle, normal cycle, heavy duty cycle and even a separate cycle for towels. On top of the myriad wash cycles for any type -or combination of type clothes you can imagine, the Energy Star has a Clean Washer Cycle, where you can insert a special detergent and the washing machine will wash itself out. There are four selectable water temperatures, a fabric softener dispenser and even a separate dispenser for bleach, and even a 12-hour delay option, so you can put clothes in and they won't start washing until a specific time as well as an "estimated time remaining" display so you can see at a glance just how long you have left on the wash or rinse cycle.

The Whirlpool Energy star is an excellent machine, and so far I have had absolutely no problems with its performance and would indeed recommend it, even at the $999.00 price, to someone looking to manage large amounts of laundry with as little fuss as possible.
