The Hamilton Beach 8 Cup Cordless Kettle is a great kettle - it has a double-wall brushed stainless steel outside, which ensures your hot water is fully insulated, and has the capacity for about eight cups of water and heats rather quickly, which is a deal breaker for many - it can be rather irritating to wait for your hot water to boil, especially in the mornings when you're already busy. The water boils in about seven minutes, which is pretty decent. The kettle is situated upon a flat base while it heats up, and lifts up so you can serve the hot water and pour, wirelessly.

This very stylish stainless steel kettle has a black plastic open handle, with a hinged lid that you need to get used to - it's locked into place, and pivots open as you press a button. You hold down the latch on the bottom of the lid to take of the lid all together, allowing you to clean and fully rinse the kettle as needed. With the lid locked, pouring is rather easy and not messy, with a contoured handle that remains cool and won't let you scald your hands, and is also very comfortable. There's also the double-wall stainless steel feature, which ensures that the water stays hot for a while even after it has shut itself off, and you don't need to wait long for the water to reheat.

You can also put the kettle on the kettle's base from any direction, and then turn it on with the flip of a switch, and turns off automatically once it's finished, preventing any spills or accidents from happening, which is especially nice if you have small children. The heating element of the kettle is also completely concealed to keep the water from gathering mineral deposits, which is a nice feature.

Overall, the Hamilton Beach 8 Cup Cordless Kettle is a great kettle.
