Sharp AQUOS-LC- 42D43U

We bought this Sharp AQUOS TV two years ago after not having a TV for over a year. The Sharp AQUOS has many features. It is a 42 inch flat screen HDTV with two 10W speakers, 1366 x 768 resolutions. It has the Power on/off on the top of the TV, Sleep setting, Auto shut off, favorite channel setting, it can be mounted on the wall or free standing on a TV stand, and much more. This is the by far best TV I have ever owned. The picture is very clean. I love that I can program our favorite channels so when we are channel surfing we do not have to go through all the channels we never watch.
The sleep timer is nice for those nights I cannot sleep and want to watch a little TV until I fall asleep. I can just program it to turn off at a certain time and not have to worry about the TV being on. Also the auto shutoff is nice for those times I leave the house and forget to turn the TV off. The speakers are a good quality. There is no back ground buzzing sounds coming from them when watching a movie. I like that the speakers are on the bottom of the TV and not the side. It gives the TV a cleaner look and I think low front speakers sound better then side speakers. I like the size of the screen and the color of the picture. Some TVs have a greenish tint to them but the picture on this TV is clear.
This is the best TV I have ever owned. I would definitely recommend this TV to a friend if they were looking for a new TV in this price range.
