The Victorinox Swiss Army Infantry Mechanical Self-winding Timepiece (model number 24695) is amazing. Designed and manufactured with Swiss precision, this watch will become a family heirloom past down from generation to generation.
Victorinox A.G. is one of two Swiss companies permitted to use the *registered trademark "Swiss Army." The other company is Wenger S.A. Victorinox, the Ibach, Schwyz company has been producing Swiss Army products since 1897 and this watch is one of their best.
Predominately featured on the face of this timepiece is the iconic Victorinox Swiss cross logo. The Swiss Cross is in place of the number twelve, as it is standard for their Swiss Army timepieces.
The black face of this watch is easy to read. Not only does the face display the current time but also the date and day of the week. The hands and marker are luminous, so they will glow in the dark after being exposed to light for a few minutes. The luminous feature makes the watch great even in the evening. Day or night the hands and numbers are clearly visible.
