The Oldsmobile Aurora 2002 was a luxury automobile that had all of the style and performance of the more expensive vehicles without the heavy price tag. These vehicles featured a V-6 or a V-8 engine and plenty of horsepower to tow a small boat. The vehicle offered a good sound system and leather seats with wood trimming. Seating 5, this was a large and comfortable vehicle that spoke of class and sophistication.

This powerful car was ideal for summer trips due to its sunroof and large windows. The powerful engine gave the vehicle a plenty of power to tackle large hills while providing plenty of stability for the down hill portions. The automatic tire inflation monitor helped to ensure that the tires were at optimum inflation. The control system also informed the owner when the oil change was due with the use of a text monitor built into the dash. The cargo space in the trunk of the vehicle is generous and spacious. There is plenty of personal space within the cab of the vehicle, allowing individuals over the height of 6 foot to sit comfortably without hitting the dash with their knees or kneeing the seat in front of them. The front seats offer angle and distance controls that are automatic. The driver seat also offers automatic lumbar support.

The audio and cruise control buttons are redundant on the steering wheel, making it easier to change channels and control the volume while driving. The radio is angled towards the driver, limiting the time that the driver removes his or her eyes from the road to check channels or CD information. The climate control information is also angled towards the driver to provide optimum control and lessening the chances of an accident due to over reaching.

The Oldsmobile Aurora is very safe in an accident. There are front air bags, stability bars and reinforcements through the doors. The engine drops down rather than through the dash in the case of a sever accident. Some Oldsmobile Auroras have side impact airbags, although these are optional.

Do not allow the battery to die in this vehicle though. To replace the battery means removing the back seat and jumping this vehicle could be a serious challenge. Even changing a light bulb in this vehicle means a trip to a mechanic's in most instances. Nothing is easy to repair and there will be plenty of repairs on this vehicle. This is not a vehicle that is well known for not breaking down and there will be problems with the circuits in the vehicle as well as the electrical system.
