Dremmel 6300-01 120 Volt Multi Max Oscilating Kit

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

I purchased the Multi Max because I was looking for an easy to use saw that I wouldn't find intimidating. It is easy to use, especially for someone with little tool experience and does a really good job.

The Multi Max is more than just a saw. It is an oscillating tool and can be easily used as a saw and sander with the standard accessories. There are a couple of optional accessories that you can add on which allow you to cut grout or metal. It does a great job of sanding corners and small spaces.

One of the most convenient things about this tool is that it can easily switch from job to job. Changing tools from sander to saw is simple and just requires a few turns of a small tool which is included.

I don't like how expensive the optional tools are and the sandpaper sheets are very small and very expensive. The sandpaper isn't your traditional sandpaper and has a fuzzy back that sticks to the tool. This means that you must use their sandpaper. While it is long lasting, it is easily 20 times more expensive than regular sandpaper. This makes the Dremmel Multi Max an expensive choice for larger sanding projects. I only use mine for corners and little touch ups.

The saw works really well and is the perfect size for small jobs. It easily cuts straight lines and can cut wood that is about 2 inches thick or less. It is one of the quietest saws I have ever heard and is very convenient and easy to use. It comes with a great and compact storage case which holds the tool as well as the accessories.

This is great tool for anyone that is uncomfortable using a larger power saw, but that wants the independence of an electric saw.
