FilterStream DirtTamer Ultima V2510

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

After six months of using my new FilterStream DirtTamer Ultima V2510 vacuum cleaner, I got rid of all my other vacuums. This little powerhouse is perfect example that big is not always better. It is completely sufficient for a relatively small homes. It cleans both dry and wet surfaces, and what is most important for me - it is cordless. No more tangling with miles of cords up and down stairs, tying myself in knots.
This vacuum weighs only 7 pounds and it has simple, sleek design, that fits very comfortably in your hands. It is constructed of heavy plastic that has a solid feel and you are not afraid of breaking it every time it bumps at the furniture.
The rechargeable battery lasts about 10 minutes, and that is how long I normally have for cleaning any one room so I found it completely sufficient.
Another good reason to choose FilterStream DirtTamer Ultima V2510 is the HEPA filter, which captures almost 100 percent of allergens normally present in our homes - bacteria, dust and pollen or anything else, to the size of 0.3 microns. If you have someone prone to allergies at home - this three-stage filter is a must.
There are two dirt collecting bowls - dry and wet. They are both fairly large - 9 oz. wet and 12 oz dry, and so far I found them completely sufficient. They are very easy to empty, without spilling and dirtying your hands.
The vacuum comes with several tools: an extensible crevice attachment, upholstery brush and a little squeegee for wet messes. They all fit in the cleaner's compartment, so they are easily accessible when you need them.
The only annoying feature of this almost perfect little vacuum cleaner is the noise. It is fairly loud, so listening to the music while you vacuum is a noisy exercise. But, there is no such thing as a perfect appliance, and at the price of $69.9, what I paid at the Amazon, it is as good as they get.
