The 2010 Phil & Teds Stroller with Doubles Kit is the perfect stroller for the growing family. This kit features a double stroller setup with multi-configuration features/setups that make the possibilities endless. Some improvements to the stroller are the ability to use the stroller as a travel system and infant carrier at the same time, ability to fold the stroller with one hand, a pedal brake, and a locking mechanism.
What I like about this stroller is that it weighs less than the traditional doubles-stroller and takes up less storage space than a singles stroller. Because it is lightweight, it is also easy to maneuver and to put in the trunk of your car. The handle is adjustable so tall and short people alike can use. Both of the seats have adjustable sun shades.
The design of the stroller was based on feedback from parents. Phil & Teds used that feedback on the Sports Buggy, the predecessor to the Doubles Kit, to make a stroller that has received many favorable customer reviews. The stroller is easy to clean and has machine washable fabrics. It is also available in five colors: black/navy, black/red, black/black, black/apple, and all apple. Configuration options are: single (newborn/toddler), double stroller (two toddlers), and double stroller (two infants). You can also purchase accessories for the stroller.
The downside is that the stroller cost $599, but you get what you pay for. The cheaper strollers that I evaluated were not as solidly constructed and did not have the reputation for design and quality that Phil & Teds has. Also, these strollers have excellent resale value. The stroller comes with a one year warranty.
