This wonderful food processor offers precise food processing in no time. Cusinart has some of the best appliances the market offers. This hand prep processor is no exception. The processor is compact and measures 15.9 x 9.8 x 6.7 inches and weighs only 9.4 pounds. The food processor does not take up much counter space and fits neatly in cabinets. The processor costs less than $50 and is well worth the price.

The food processor is safe and easy to use. There are stainless steel chopping and mixing blades for precision cutting. The processor has a safety chute that attaches and detaches for shredding and slicing. Users just need to drop the food down in the chute and the processor does the rest. The chute prevents splashing and wasting of food in the work area. The chute also detaches for easy jobs. Simple chopping of small vegetables, seasoning blends, and herbs and spices is easy. Users can chop and mix with the twist of their wrists.

Operating the Cuisinart food processor is very easy. A simple dial controls the processor. Users choose between on, off, and pulse to control. There are no complicated or confusing buttons to operate this system. There is also a 3-cup work bowl. The bowl is large enough for big jobs and can accommodate the small jobs. The food processor also has a 2mm slicing blade and a medium shredding blade. The slicing and shredding blades are a little hard to remove. Many of the blades on other machines in the same class detach in seconds with ease. Another minor drawback is that the plastic surrounding the blades stains easily. The user must remember to wash the blades or at least rinse the plastic immediately after use to reduce stains. Those are not major issues but things to be concerned about before purchasing.

The food processor seems to be as reliable as any other food processor in the same class and price range. It is definitely safe especially with the attachment chute. Al parts of the food processor except the base are dishwasher safe. The unit comes with a 5-year warranty on the motor and a 3 year limited warranty on the entire unit. Many manufacturers only offer the limited warranty and no warranty on the motor, so this is a great deal. This great buy can last a long time if cared for properly. The unit is durable and stable enough for daily use.
